Hertz is asking some renters if they want to buy their cars as it continues reducing EV fleet

Hertz planned to sell 30,000 EVs last year due to low demand and maintenance costs. Now, they are offering renters the chance to buy discounted Teslas, Polestar, and Volvo cars from their fleet to address repair and resale issues faced with their EVs.
