Gulf of Mexico Hurricane Likely, Texas-Louisiana Landfall Possible, NHC Says -- OPIS

NHC's 8 a.m. ET update on Potential Tropical Cyclone Six near Texas-Mexico border indicated maximum winds of 50 mph. It may bring storm surge and strong winds to Louisiana and Texas coasts. The system will also cause heavy rainfall and flash flooding in several areas.
