Gridlock Alert Days in effect in NYC this week as battle over congestion pricing rages

New York City's Gridlock Alert Days are in effect during peak holiday season, including Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. To ease traffic congestion, it is advised to use mass transit on these days. The city also plans to implement congestion pricing in January to alleviate traffic in the Central Business District.
