FedEx to close Erie shipping center in June as part of plan to streamline operations

FedEx plans to close its shipping center at 117 W. 17th St. in Erie as part of a companywide effort to streamline operations. Employees at the affected location will be offered other roles within the company. FedEx aims to enhance efficiency and customer experience through its Network 2.
