'Fat Leonard' sentenced to 15 years for masterminding one of the US military's biggest scandals

Former military contractor Leonard Francis, known as "Fat Leonard," received a 15-year prison sentence for orchestrating a bribery scheme involving US Navy officers. He was ordered to pay $20m in restitution to the navy and forfeit $35m in proceeds.
