Drugmaker Lilly slates another $4.5B for manufacturing and drug development improvements

Eli Lilly invests $4.5 billion in expanding manufacturing and drug development near its Indianapolis headquarters. The new Lilly Medicine Foundry will focus on researching drug-making methods and enhancing manufacturing for clinical trials. The company is also expanding in Lebanon, Indiana, and Limerick, Ireland.
