Detroit police officer wounds 2 bystanders while responding to June block party shooting, interim chief says

Interim Police Chief Todd Bettison announced an officer who wounded two bystanders at a block party in June is on "no-gun status." The officer shot the bystanders while firing at assailants with guns. All involved parties suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
