Colorado's pre-Thanksgiving snowstorm dropped feet of snow to the high country while bringing slushy snow to the Denver area by Wednesday morning.

Heavy snow caused hazardous road conditions in the high country on Wednesday morning, but as the snow clears throughout the day, road conditions are expected to improve with the help of sunshine. Winter weather advisories and storm warnings are in effect for the mountains and Front Range.
