Colorado crews set to extinguish coal smoldering underground at Marshall Mesa

Boulder is addressing an underground coal fire near Marshall Mesa trailhead with a 4-month project, working with Colorado Division of Reclamation Mining and Safety. Safety measures will be in place to prevent fire spread, with the trailhead closure.
