Canada's unemployment rate rises to 6.8 per cent, as economy adds 51k jobs

Canada added 50,500 jobs in November, raising the unemployment rate to 6.8%. The increase in unemployment is the highest since Jan. 2017, excluding the pandemic, with 1.5 million people now unemployed.
