@suwanneerefugee @hodlhodl We are VERY early days in Bitcoin. Using it as a MoE isn’t a global incentive yet (because of the point you highlight). But the engineering has been done. And when those incentives eventually shift, BTC can easily become a MoE in addition to being a SoV.

I always see something brand new w/ Bitcoin tech at the @hodlhodl Honey Badger Conference. This year, all the vendors were accepting BTC lightning payments with Ark. 🤯 What in the world does that mean? Here’s the TLDR: It means vendors now don’t have to manage the complex channel liquidity that has caused confusion and frustration for many new users onboarding to bitcoin lightning. Ark is a newer Bitcoin Layer‑2 solution designed to provide instant, low‑fee, and self‑custodial Bitcoin payments using something called virtual UTXOs (VTXOs). It’s completely interoperable with the Lightning network. It works in hourly “rounds” where users’ VTXOs are grouped in a transaction tree whose root gets settled on‑chain. This structure allows rapid off‑chain transfers, and users can always settle on‑chain independently if needed. @debificom @keidunm @annahhodl @MrKukks @bergealex4 @ArkLabsHQ

Define the gibberish, James. They’re arbing BTC’s annual performance of 45% against a fiat denominated fixed income payment of 10%. Either you think Bitcoin is BS and it’s NOT going to outperform fiat (in which case the company explodes) or it will outperform fiat and there’s something here. Seems you actually don’t understand why there’s so much demand for BTC and why he’s comfortable assuming the performance will continue to be so high… As for the guy posting this….🦕☄️

I really enjoyed this conversation and I look forward to the feedback. My core (unanswered) question after this discussion: Do smaller BTC Treasury Companies actually have an advantage over bigger ones because they have the capacity to grow faster (assuming they can reach liquidity in public fixed income markets)?
