I was talking to an UHNW advisor to the most prestigious global macro hedge funds recently. His conclusion: BTC was the lowest risk asset based on the fundamentals of where we sit vs all other asset classes.

@DrBurkenstock @TheBTCTherapist Because I can do just as well supporting the picks and shovels of the best emerging asset as it grows

@TheBTCTherapist All good. I sold all of mine.

I learned something that day. I see risks in BTC, quantum compute, bugs in the each code base revision, market attacks…. Compared to the risks in the other asset classes, BTC is a cake walk.

@BTCBreadMan Looking into the fundamentals instead of price volatility. BTC is likely the lowest risk asset.

@TheBTCTherapist There’s only 4 cryptos pictured here.

@adam3us @pete_rizzo_ Banking will bifurcate into "Bitcoin-only" and "Crypto" as valid collateral. Then a global macro tail risk event will happen, and the choices made today will play out in a Darwin Award for banks.

@BTC_Archive @L0laL33tz 94,643 BTC that they hold in custody belongs to Bitfinex and will be returned per court ruling made in January this year.

It's not bearish as such, just choppy. As per our Bitcoin Vector Lite title pushed out on Substack yesterday... "main engine cutoff, please standby"

READER WARNING: This kind of chart is just a curiosity. Perhaps overfitting past behaviour. Remain a skeptic when reading it... just a story of past behaviour. BTC is driven by liquidity and there's no guarantees it'll be well behaved as it enters the world of global macro.

For pro-traders, family offices and global macro hedge funds we have our institutional publication - The Bitcoin Vector, with a full suite of models which are robust, battle hardened, and has carried significant capital for over 5 years.

Mentioned on : 07/14/2025

The models powering Bitcoin Vector Lite is the culmination of a 5 year collab with Swissblock, the secret OG trading firm behind Glassnode. Lite uses a simplified high value set of models to help hodlers navigate the market cycles, to stack BTC at optimal price points.

@stevekimlaw The premium is implied due to yield on BTC per share. mNAV will collapse during bears. The long term risk is in the debt structuring. MSTR is very robust. MTPLF takes a path higher up the risk curve, which potentially opens itself up for BTC liquidation in a bear market.

I know y'all busy shopping for new lambos today, that's def the priority... But if you're free, join us... Going live in 3.5hrs. Let's talk about latest BTC market action, structure and this cycle's end game.

Mentioned on : 07/11/2025

All past BTC bull markets have seen a rotation of capital from BTC -> ETH -> Big Caps -> Mid Caps -> Small Caps as investors chase returns higher up the risk curve. Whether we see this in this cycle where investors are chasing BTC Treasury companies is yet to be seen.

Interesting structure change. This is Macro Cycle Risk (published on @bitcoinvector Lite, coming soon to Substack). It models BTC's liquidity, we're late cycle. Dips in risk are areas of new found liquidity, often a prelude to break new highs. It's dipping right now!

@dotkrueger Sort of, depends on the LTV that the lender is offering. If it’s a 50% LTV loan then here’s the dynamic: $500k BTC $100k USD loan When BTC drops below $200k (-60%), you would need to post more collateral to maintain 50% LTV. Or partial liquidation happens.

@ErikVoorhees "Separation of money and state." That's the party to vote for. Can't hide government overspending and pushing onto the poor through debasement thereafter. The easiest vote is buying BTC.
