We got Leios, Hydra, Midnight, and Bitcoin DeFi alongside governance, security and decentralization. Bitcoin DeFi is indeed the largest opportunity, but the single biggest issue is that we are missing a competent Foundation and executive authority to push these narratives into the mindset of the space. This is why so many people push for me to step up and represent the entire ecosystem. I feel their frustration and exhaustion especially when we are mocked by podcasters and "thought leaders" who write off Cardano as a cult or a dying chain. No one is more frustrated than IOG given we are at the nexus of amazing innovation and see that Cardano is best positioned to capture the next trillion dollars of growth. Rare Evo is going to be one of the most important events for us as we need to discuss how to correct lingering governance issues, update the constitution to add delegated executive authority, get a sovereign wealth fund started, and showcase all the remarkable innovation. We continue to act as one of the core coordinators for the ecosystem. It's been brutal and expensive this year. It's also been dehumanizing as we have been blamed for everything wrong and aren't allowed to feel any wins. The trolls organized and crossed social and legal lines that cannot be taken back. The silence of many of the OGs in our ecosystem was also deafening. Being accused of stealing hundreds of millions without any evidence was the lowest point of my career. We continue to move on, but remember the people who contributed to the problems and broken narratives. Hold them accountable accordingly.

Here's a thought, if I put a million dollar grant for travel and per diem on the table, do you think we could get all the Cardano builders to one place to showcase our ecosystem? What would be the best place to do that?

Now that we have governance moving along really well, this year I'm going to focus deeply on three big themes for Cardano: 1) Bitcoin DeFi on Cardano (Market is 4 times the size of Ethereum and Solana combined) 2) 24/7 work on scalability, including Leios 3) Making Cardano a peninsula, not an island. This is the madness of trying to do anything with the treasury. People who have never traded large amounts of Ada presume that any trade will result in catastrophic harm to the price, using ChatGPT as the source for their claims. Markets are social animals, not static bookshelves. The belief that Cardano DeFi is improving will offset the sale volume of Ada from a modest divestment (and yes, this is modest). Given the current institutional demand for Ada, there is enough OTC demand to cover it. We should ask what DApps are part of this plan, what they need to do, where the yield will come from, and how we can use this to bootstrap more inflows. This will not harm the price of Ada. The entire point of this exercise is to make the Cardano ecosystem more attractive. Think growth.

It's Monday, June 16th, 2025. While some of you babble on about feelings, ego, narcissism, and whatever else makes you feel psychological safety, others are coding, investing, partnering, and trading. We aren't in a static game with a guaranteed seat at the table. We are in an ocean of sharks trying to eat us every day. They poach our people and DApps. They have unfair advantages with VCs and the Media. They cut corners with their protocols and software to speed up time to market. We have the decide if we want to win. If we are serious about having a billion users. If we actually want Cardano in every home. After all this dust settles, Cardano still has a stablecoin issue. Only 33 million has been deployed on chain. We have a means to fix it. Calling me names, egotistical, a cancer, or dictatorial isn't going to solve that Objective reality. You'll just have me working on my ranch not caring anymore and the same 33 million issued. There aren't Genesis keys anymore. You're all going to have to figure out if you want to solve problems or just complain about them. Growing up is hard, but that's where we are at as an ecosystem. It's tough love, but I'd be doing you all a disservice if I didn't say it.

Again, you have no idea what you're talking about. The markets are deep. Billions of dollars of ada trade hands every week across the world. The belief that Cardano DeFi is bullish alone would create enough buy demand to offset a liquidation at this scale. If 100 million could move the market, Cardano would have extreme volatility.
