Victoria's oldest Chinatown will now have a permanent museum named the Victoria Chinatown Museum, aiming to expand and share Chinese Canadian history with visitors. The museum has been boosted by Lt.-Gov. Janet Austin as its honorary patron, emphasizing the significance of Chinese Canadian history as Canadian history.
