The Don Threatens Breaking Canada’s Kneecaps If China Deal Goes Through…
Ahhh sh*t, here we go again…
In case you missed it, or “exploring ungodly amounts of creativity” with your AI character (sup, Zuck)... Trump just threatened Canada with a 100% tariff if Prime Minister Mark Carney makes a trade deal with China. Gimme that TACO, baby!

In short, Trump doesn’t want Canada to “maybe, kinda” help China. And his logic is simple: China + Canada deal = China tries to sneak goods into the U.S. through Canada = Trump hits the big red TARIFF NUKE button. For instance, he literally called Canada a potential “Drop Off Port” for China. Truth hurts.
Oh, and he didn’t call him Prime Minister Carney either. He called him “Governor Carney”... which is basically like calling your wife ‘buddy” during an argument LOL. But alas, the funny part here is that China already did the deed with China. Earlier this month, Carney said Canada and China reached a preliminary deal to lower some trade barriers. China cut tariffs on some Canadian ag products. Canada increased quotas for Chinese EV imports and slapped them with a 6.1% tariff rate. Translation: Canada is doing what every middle power does when the two big dogs start barking… trying to not get eaten alive.

But because TACO Tuesday came early for us all, Trump is now threatening a 100% tariff like Canada just tried to Venmo Xi Jinping “rent money.” Basically, we’ve seen this movie before. Trump escalates, everyone panics, then a week later it turns into “framework talks” and a photo op and stonks moon like nothing happened. Think WWE with supply chains.
For Canada tho, they’re definitely in a pickle. The U.S. is their biggest customer, and China is their biggest “fine, I guess we’ll trade with you” option. And now, Trump is telling them if they do business with China, he’s breaking kneecaps.

Meanwhile, most Canadian exports don’t even get hit under USMCA… but Trump already jacked tariffs on some goods to 35% back in August 2025, and steel/copper/autos are still in the penalty box. So when he says “100% tariff,” he’s basically threatening to turn Canada into a luxury brand overnight. Of course, nothing is set ans stone yet… but Canada apparently is one decision away from Trump responding with ALL CAPS and nuclear threat.
America stays undefeated, folks! Place your bets accordingly. Until next time…
