Taiwan should invest more in chip technology and supply chain expertise to maintain its global leadership in semiconductors, according to an executive from Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co. The company aims to attract foreign partners to set up centers in Taiwan and develop expertise in equipment and materials to stay competitive.
