Scania, a subsidiary of Volkswagen, has acquired the Industrial Division of Northvolt Systems to enhance its off-road electrification capabilities. The deal includes a production facility, R&D center, and around 260 employees, strengthening Scania's battery technology expertise for heavy industry applications.
