Samsung Electronics has acquired a 35% stake in Rainbow Robotics, a South Korea-based robotics maker, to enhance its robotics department and accelerate humanoid robot development. Rainbow Robotics will become a Samsung subsidiary, enabling expansion into global markets. Dr. Jun-ho Oh will lead Samsung's new Future Robotics Office.
