Apollo has acquired Evri for £2.7bn, aiming to boost its parcel business and compete with Royal Mail. The deal will bring fresh investment and expertise to support Evri's growth. Czech tycoon Daniel Kretinsky is also set to invest in Royal Mail to enhance its parcel services.
