Vice President-elect JD Vance underwent minor sinus surgery before his inauguration on Jan. 20. The surgery took place at George Washington University Hospital, with Vance expected to return to work soon. Ohio Governor Mike DeWine will appoint a replacement for Vance in the Senate.
