Billionaire Carl Icahn's CVR Energy has made a bid for shares in Citgo Petroleum's parent company in a court auction to pay Venezuela's creditors. CVR is working with Wells Fargo to secure financing for the bid, which would complement Citgo's Gulf Coast refineries.
