Plymouth has closed all parks and fields from dusk to dawn due to the high risk of Eastern equine encephalitis (EEE). Residents are urged to take precautions against mosquito bites to prevent the potentially fatal disease. Other towns are also on high alert for EEE and West Nile Virus.
