EasyJet has established its 10th UK base at Southend airport, bringing 140 jobs for pilots and cabin crew. Basing three A320neo aircraft at the airport will support 1,200 jobs, doubling routes to 20 and increasing flights to leisure destinations in Europe and north Africa.
