Dec 16 (Reuters) - U.S. President Donald ‍Trump said ⁠that his ​eldest son, Donald Trump Jr. is engaged to Bettina Anderson, a Palm Beach socialite, the New York Times reported late ‌on Monday.

According to the newspaper, Trump made the announcement at a White House holiday party. Reuters could not immediately reach a ‍representative for Donald Trump ‌Jr.

This ‍is ‌the third time Donald Trump Jr. has been ​engaged. He was ‍previously ⁠married to ⁠Vanessa, a former model and actress, ‍for 12 years and the couple has five children together. Vanessa filed for a divorce in 2018. He was later engaged to Kimberly Guilfoyle, a U.S. television personality.

Media reports suggest that ‌Trump Jr. and Anderson have ⁠been dating for about a year and had traveled to India's Udaipur to ⁠attend a wedding celebration last month.
