Barclays to acquire US personal loan platform Best Egg for $800m through its US subsidiary. The deal aims to strengthen Barclays' presence in the US consumer finance market and enhance its digital capabilities. The acquisition is set to be completed in the second quarter of 2026 pending regulatory approvals.
