A recent analysis by KFF reveals that most of the 67 million eligible seniors for Medicare do not compare or switch coverage plans during open enrollment. Despite extensive advertising from insurance companies, many beneficiaries do not explore their options, with 69% not comparing plans in the previous enrollment period.
