UK parents join pact to withhold smartphones from children under 14

At least one parent at 6,537 UK schools signed a pledge by Smartphone Free Childhood to delay giving smartphones to children until at least age 14. The aim is to reduce peer pressure and raise the age children receive smartphones. This initiative seeks to shift the culture around smartphone usage among children.
