More student-loan borrowers are getting debt cancellation through bankruptcy 2 years after Biden streamlined the process

The Education and Justice Departments have simplified the process for student loan borrowers to prove "undue hardship" for loan discharge. The streamlined guidelines aim to provide relief to struggling borrowers and have increased the number of discharges granted.
