Little Village migrant shelter closing by Nov. 3 as Chicago migrant arrivals continue to drop

The state-run migrant shelter in Little Village, Chicago, will close due to a decrease in asylum seekers. Many migrants have established networks in the city and no longer need housing assistance. The city plans to close more shelters and renew a contract with Favorite Healthcare Staffing.
